VT Skills
VTskills is an Erasmus+ project focused on viticulture in the Mediterranean region. The consortium's goal is to promote the adoption of environmentally, socially, and economically responsible practices in the wine industry. The project will create a new transnational curriculum in viticulture studies, offering digital, green, and resilience skills to train university students, VET learners, consultants, managers, technicians, and farmers on SPV (Sustainable Precision Viticulture). Erre Quadro's role in this project is to conduct an analysis of emerging technologies and the social and environmental drivers of change within the wine industry to identify the skills that will be required in the future within the sector.
Tuscany X.0
Erre Quadro is an affiliated partner of the EDIH (European Digital Innovation Hub).
The objective of the project is to encourage the digital transformation of Tuscan SMEs, and in particular:
1. stimulate digital ``revamping``;
2. promote scalable functional upgrades;
3. customize (grounding of technological solutions) fundamental, enabling, transversal technologies. Operationally, Tuscany
Erre Quadro, together with a network of partners in the area, will offer specialist services for the enhancement of technology and the entire innovation process.
RARE2
RARE2 is a Horizon Europe project that aims to create a platform dedicated to European manufacturing SMEs to help make them resilient to unexpected market changes, such as sudden disruptions, legal changes or any type of crisis and evolving scenarios, including climate and weather . The platform will allow timely detection of an imminent problem, alert the decision maker, quickly propose simulations on potential new strategies. The consortium includes 22 partners at European level. In this context, Erre Quadro will develop a tool for the automated analysis of skill gaps at company level and a tool for matchmaking between the needs dictated by the adoption of new processes and technologies and the skills available in the local ecosystem. Erre Quadro will finally build an ontology of the main manufacturing processes and technologies that are adopted by the pilot companies.
E-STEM
E-Stem is an Erasmus+ project that aims to enhance the digital pedagogical skills of educators, offering them a series of toolboxes to easily put these methodologies into practice. An integral part of the project is the development of innovative online tools (SuperFastLearning Machines) which through data-mining extract relevant information from which to develop digital contents (one for each methodology), allowing teachers and trainers to better understand the pedagogical methodologies that are basis of training approaches. The project is carried out by Erre Quadro together with a consortium of 5 European universities: University of Pisa (Italy), Universitaet Bremen (Germany) Universite De Bordeaux (France) Universidad De Zaragoza (Spain) Politechnika Koszalinska (Poland).
KITT4SME
KITT4SME (Artificial Intelligence KIT for SME) is a Horizon 2020 project that includes 18 partners and which aims to create an Artificial Intelligence-based software platform that is easy to adopt by European SMEs and mid-cap companies. The KITT4SME platform will provide tailor-made hardware, software and organizational kits for companies in the manufacturing sector, provided as a customizable modular digital platform. In KITT4SME Erre Quadro designs a tool to perform skills assessment for the individual worker, capable of detecting digital skills gaps relevant to Artificial Intelligence applied to Manufacturing. Furthermore, the tool can suggest the most appropriate online course capable of covering the previous skills gap detected.
AUTOTWIN
AUTO-TWIN is a Horizon Europe project that aims to improve the current systems engineering model through: the introduction of a revolutionary method for automated process discovery towards the autonomous generation of the digital twin; the adoption of a common data space within networks in a circular economy ecosystem; the integration of new hardware technologies in the digital sector, to create intelligent green gateways. AUTO-TWIN aims to spread digital twin models that involve the entire supply chain for integrated decision management aware of the green impact at all stages of the value chain. The consortium includes 13 partners at European level. In this context, Erre Quadro will develop a tool for the automated analysis of skill gaps at company level.
IPR4SC
IPR4SC (Developing Skills in Intellectual Property Rights Open Data for Sustainability and Circularity) is an Erasmus+ project that aims to strengthen the skills related to the management of intellectual property (IP) of EU inventors, trained through higher education and VET (Vocational Education and Training) to the design and implementation of sustainable and circular businesses. The project will provide a detailed analysis of IP for business needs, develop an online navigation tool, design and deliver IP for skills training. The project is co-developed by Erre Quadro in partnership with 4 universities, 2 technology providers, 2 VET institutions and 2 partners who support by providing professional services in the management and dissemination of the project. Associated partners are also involved, including patent offices and other organizations.
CHEM4EU
The project will support the development of strategic foresight for chemicals, in particular regarding EU autonomy. The study will focus on the identification of 20 critical chemicals and 10 future innovations of strategic importance. In particular, it will identify and map value chains relevant to the green and digital transitions and define the areas where the identified chemical substances and innovations represent key elements. The project team will then assess production capacity, research and investment needs in the EU. The team will ultimately provide recommendations to policy makers. The project will develop a Foresight methodology as well as a customized method for data collection and analysis. The project is carried out in collaboration with Steinbeis 2i GmbH (Germany), 4CF (Poland) and TNO (Toegepast Natuurwetenschappelijk Onderzoek, the Netherlands). The project is carried out in collaboration with Steinbeis 2i GmbH (Germany), 4CF (Poland) and TNO (Toegepast Natuurwetenschappelijk Onderzoek, the Netherlands).
DENIM
DENiM (Digital Intelligence for Collaborative Energy management in Manufacturing) is a Horizon 2020 project that aims to develop an interoperable digital intelligence platform to enable a collaborative approach to industrial energy management. DENiM provides an integrated suite of tools to deliver advanced digital services. The final objective is to offer useful tools for the continuous evaluation of energy impact, together with the control and optimization of energy in existing production plants, processes, and machines. The DENIM consortium includes 18 partners at European level. In this context, Erre Quadro designs a tool for assessing skills, capable of detecting digital skills gaps relevant for the implementation of key Energy Efficiency activities, and indicates the most suitable online course to cover the gap detected.
