The problem to be solved

Toscana Life Sciences needed to collect and structure a large volume of strategic information, making it easily accessible and centralized for various stakeholders — from academia to clinical environments and industry players. The goal was twofold: on one hand, to facilitate the integration and exchange of information by creating a baseline useful for measuring the impact of future public policies in biomedical research and innovation; on the other hand, to systematically map similarities and differences in approaches to personalized medicine at the international level, thus promoting synergistic and shared development.

The solution

In the context of personalized medicine, we developed a tailored version of Innovation Reveal® that integrates and organizes patent literature, scientific publications, and clinical data into a single platform. The system collects, classifies, and provides access to key documents related to technologies and methodologies for diagnosis, treatment, prognosis, and post-operative monitoring — including medical devices, pharmaceuticals, active substances, and innovative therapeutic approaches. The platform also enables access to detailed statistics and aggregated data.

• Approximately 91,000 documents collected (57,156 Publications, 28,391 Patents, and 5,111 Clinical Studies in the field)
